Stevej37 - If your plate that gives you trouble when doing an oil change is anything like the one on our CRV, you need to get the shoulder bolts lined up correctly for them to seat properly. Our plate will sit in place without being held up as they have tabs that fit into slots to hold it in place without the screws.

I have a lift in my garage, but in the winter the 911 takes it's place up at the top. I have snow blown in piles in front of the door, so I can't get the 911 out anyways.
So, I use a pair of ramps that only raise the front end about 10 inches....making it hard to finagle the plate around. I have done it every time, but it's a chore.
