Wheels and yokes usually clamp to the front lip of a desk. It looks like some (ie VelocityOneFlight) sit on top.
I use a TM Warthog HOTAS. Slide the throttle forward, slide the stick left, the desk is clear again. They are heavy. Not much space otherwise.

A lazy susan might work. A left-right linear might not be strong and take up more space.
Need a solid sliding surface such as two thin sheets of bumpy plastic with a clamping system.

The TM stuff will bolt directly onto the Volair Sim mounts. Simple finger screws to adjust or move around. Same with most of the big brands.
