Last time I went skiing 13 years ago, I had my ski booted feet come out from under me on ice walking back to turn in my skis. Back of my head hard on the pavement fortunately I had a helmet on! Ski patrol was walking by and saw the fall. He had the look of about to be helicopter ride on his face before I smiled and pointed at my helmet.

I'm surprised police officers don't wear helmets in icy conditions especially when they're working an accident scene where cars crashed on ice.
