- size of room - it's 27' x 22', but is a combination living/dining/kitchen, so really 22' x 18'

- music preference - everything from Simon and Garfunkel to Tool

But...in reality, I am 60 years old and my ears are shot from too much car racing. I am just looking for something that sounds decent.
