So the 996 engine mounts are less than 3cm wider than than ‘72’s.

I can’t imagine there would be structural issues if I fabricated replacement mounts that had the center point offset outboard by about 1.5cm, right?

The pictures below show where the center point of the holes would need to be to accommodate the stock Turbo cradle. The begging of the ruler, and about 34 5/8”.
