So this was one of a few I received a .5 deduction for. Some judges play games so others might win or they just have no clue. This isn't parade and it isn't down to best in show.

.5 deduction for what appears to be nearly perfect hardware, that’s absurd.

The lead judge was absolutely clueless and in all honesty should not have been judging at all IMHO. I literally had to explain the timer rules to him as I was the first car to be judged. He also overlooked so many exterior flaws on competitor cars which would have skewed the results in my favor. The engine judge was also friends with the owner of 993 I was competing with and I watched her inspect the engine, it was literally a half hearted effort vs mine which was a deep dive into crevices I could barely reach. When I got my scoresheet and saw the deducts I didn’t feel like arguing with them and left. Some of it was deserved and it helped me improve the car going forward but, I definitely don’t think it was fair. It doesn’t matter though, it’s not about the winning as much as it is improving the car.
