I'm guessing that LWJ's "great grandfather" has been dead for quite some time, so I don't think there's any danger of the Feds coming to incarcerate him. I feel like I'm fairly young for this board, and I think my last great grandfather died in 1972 while my last great grandmother died in 1996 at the age of 92. Even if LWJ is 10-15 years younger than me, odds are good that he hasn't ratted anyone out.
