My set up is 225/45-17 and 315/35-17 Toyo R888 on 17x8.5 and 17x11.5 wheels (I could go 12" on the rear wheels). I've run 235/275, 255/315, 225/275 but my current set up works the best for me. If I had less HP I might just run 275's in the rear but the look of the big meaty tires in the back is really cool too. For the street 225 on the front seems plenty good to me even for the occasional track day. Any bigger than that and the steering weight makes the drive less fun.

I tried the Nitto NT555 tires but slid around too much and went back to the Toyo R888's.
