We live in a 3 dimensional Universe that is wrapped upon itself in the 4th dimension (4 physical, orthogonal, spacial dimensions).

A balloon is a 2 dimensional universe wrapped around a third dimension. We are one step further along. 5th dimensions and above only exist in a few esoteric cosmologies.

Ah, right, I'd forgotten about this other definition. But I'm not crazy, Time is frequently referred to as the 4th dimension.
