I have to ask the simple question: Is this really progress?

I've noticed and thought about posting several times recently that google searches seem to have gone to crap for the past month or so. I feel like someone is anticipating what I "want" vs what my search text actually says. I feel like I used to get better results, but they are much worse recently.
