My summer project or at least one of them is to try and get my Targa quieter...

There is a later seal piece that goes in front of the windshield to top seal that appears to just be a thin flap. I think it is listed in the Porsche parts catalogs; not sure what year it started in.

When I go on long trips, I leave the top on and roll the windows down so I don’t get sunburnt and also for quicker rest and gas stops. Since I won’t be removing it, I will use clear tape, I believe Gorilla was the brand to block wind from the windshield frame to top. This cuts the majority of noise.

You could just start taping up sections until you identified the leaking areas and then try and adjust windows and seal to make permanent repairs.
