Thanks Bob, I'm not a fan of tenderloins but it was special both surprisingly in that the meat had an intense beef flavor and the fat from the butter and cream rounded out its lusciousness. Sharp greens and earthy shiitakes balanced too.
I normally go for NY strips, ribeyes, skirts and picanha when I can find them but I'm looking forward to more tenderloins now and again.
