Yep Shaun's stuff is what I'm talking about! (minus mushrooms for me).
Booze choice matters greatly to the flavor IMO. Henessy is great (and I can pretend I'm in a rap video) but other stuff can work.
Here's the stuff my neighbor gave me that is so out of this world for the au poivre
It's not high end stuff ($26) and has 10% merlot (headache city for me if I have more than a small amount) but jeez is it good in that sauce.
