I have aftermarket gauges. These gauges require a specific sensor - I can't re-use the Porsche ones. The temperature sensor in particular is extremely long - think 964 temp sensor. It cannot go in the factory temp sensor hole, as that's super short depth with a right-angle spade connector. Even if I were to somehow fit it in, the connector would be going right through the belt and the engine support.
