What I used to start with is a kind of tonneau deck (I think) for a roadster. It was in the trunk of my 914 when I bought it 9 years ago but it didn't fit the 914. It was lying on the attick for a long time and since I don't wanna fold the 911 targatop anymore I had to find a solution. There were 4 straps ( 1 on each corner) that I cut off. I used 4 suction cups so I could attach it to the windows (same system as the one that's for sale from a company in Germany and that our host also sells.)
