My wife slowly backed out of the garage and once outside the bird continued eating for a few seconds and then flew off . It was one of the strangest things I have ever seen . I call my wife the hummingbird whisperer

Awesome! Smart lady. Hummingbirds have to eat frequently, so that guy was probably tired and hungry after you had lunch. Presumably, they all know what a hummingbird feeder looks like and was happy to find a meal.
