The game we witnessed on Thurs. was hockey at some of its best. As we all most assuredly will agree, the game could have gone either way. Downside is from now on, regular season NHL games may take on the appearance or feel we're watching a few 'beer league' matches - until of course, the cup playoffs.
I'm also sure, most of us are looking ahead to the Milano Cortina 2026 Games for more "best-on-best" - a year from now - a looong wait between hockey fixes!!
