I bought this trailer about 3 years ago from a CL ad. Private seller in St. Augustine. All aluminum and very lightweight - perfect for a motorcycle except......the bed is only 6' in length....and my Interceptors run closer to 7' in length. Oops!
I found I could do transports by parking the bike in diagonally. PITA but do-able. During the acquisition of the '86 VF500F....the seller came up with a brilliant solution that I hadn't thought of. Just cut out the front and move the bike forward over part of the tongue. He didn't mention the chock - that was my contribution.
I got everything done today but still need to test it and also there's a couple cut off angle railings I need to secure, which I will do later today.
I bought the chock from Amazon. It's removable if I want to use the trailer without it.
A few pics.....
The day I picked up the VF500F last year. I did the same thing with quite a few other bikes. PITA and not ideal!
