I built a new side fence last week which enlarges my small back yard by 5' and is a little taller than the old crumbling fence. I'm just showing off my handywork here but also asking for recommendations for a good sealer. I've used Penofin in the past, but it doesn't seem to hold up as well as I would like.
This is a "good neighbor" fence as it looks the exact same on both sides with the fence pickets overlapping 1.5" over one another. I'll be adding railroad ties along the sidewalk to create a short retaining planter and then planting shrubs. I will also remove the old driveway on the left side and replace with dirt - this hasn't been in use for about 50 years. After this, I will build a fence on the other side of the yard and then the back side so it will all be the same.
