Yeah, but pileated woodpeckers are so cool.
What cracks me up is when one finds a gutter or some aluminum siding. They used to do that in my old neighborhood every once in a while.
What's super cool and also very creepy are howler monkeys in person in the jungle at night. A bunch of them usually howl at once, and in the dark it sounds like a sound out of a horror flick. And they are the loudest land animal in the world and can peak at 140dB
