I use peppermint oil for rodent infesting of my jeep & truck. Not concerned about then getting into the driver compartments but will spray it in the motor compartment from time to time. Don't hit the hot portions of the motor but the firewall, fender wells, around fuse boxes and wiring harnesses. You have to look around some cause it can be stupid expensive but mix it with water in a fern sprayer.

Spray it in other areas of the garage as well. No more mouse poop in the garage where I found it when I first moved in.
