Can't be as bad as the paint reformulation in the 80's. I had a new ford truck the paint was detaching from the primer in sheets, and they would not cover it.

Yeah, I know there’s a reason for it. Something has to offset all the tech goodies, hybrid systems, etc. I saw an ‘80s square body Chevy yesterday, reminded me of my ‘79 Scottsdale. That thing wouldn’t dent but man would it rust! Oh the good old days…
