well. I'm there.
thought I would update the team.
I did it. I hit my weight goal of 185lbs. I had to. (starting point was 217lbs)
eating right, eating correct portions and eating balanced. no sugar, no alcohol, no processed white flour stuff. I told myself I was going to order a smash-burger when I hit 185 pounds. now, I kinda dont even crave it anymore. my red-meat appetite has atrophied.
I auto wake up at 4:30 am daily, and I will dragass out of bed and strap on all my running gear for winter. I run 3 miles daily.
it hit me about 10 days ago. a friend told me I look sloppy in my old clothing. so, I did the thing I hate the most. I went shopping for new pants. haha.out of habit I got all my old sizes. the salesperson trotted off and got me smaller ones. I have lost 4" in pant size. NUTS!! the REI 20% sale is tomorrow and will get another pair of DUER jeans. super comfy pant.
bonus? my skin is clear!! no wierdness. my gut health is good. I sleep kickass. my resting HR is 58. my BP is kinda low. no more back pain unless I do something stupid.
I can get off the floor without using my hands. (I thought this was easy - nope)
I'll keep it up. jogging, eating right. not interested in weight loss. it was my fat ass liver spewing enzymes that got me worried. latest blood test show that is now better than it ever was in my history of taking that particular blood test. my doc was tempted to put me on some weight loss drug because she said it has an off-label use of helping the liver unscar itself. but she saw my success and waved it off....I didnt want it. gut problems are my kryptonite.
