Wow, great result and very inspirational. I am a type 1 diabetic and have put on roughly 15 lbs over the 8 years since diagnosis. It's hard to lose weight as a type 1, but recently I've been eating less carbs, especially in the morning, working to lower my insulin intake and upped the exercise. Mostly rowing machine, walking, cycling (indoors in winter) and some strength training. My wife told me I looked leaner recently and sure enough, I've dropped 5 lbs. We enjoy wine, but that needs to be cut back as well. Hearing stories like yours is really motivational. Keep it up!
