If you have "cut outs" on top of the hat, seal them up well.
It rains a bunch up in Humble county.
About 50 years ago, after an auto X, I had parked my car on the street, forgetting that i had removed the air cleaners to do come carb tweeking.
It rained that night and one or two of the 6 solexes got enough rain water down the pipe to hydrolock the engine. Pulled the plugs and spun it over, rreinstalled the plugs and i was off to school.
Has anyone had HydroLocking problems with the dome shaped foam filters?
