OK. I'll check it out. Hmm, the sliding door doesn't want to slide. A definite prerequisite for a sliding door.
Upon closer inspection, a metal wheel can be seen lying in the track. OK indeed.
Fortunately it was an easy fix. I had a couple of spare "trucks" with all their wheels. I didn't even have to take the door off the other truck. The offending one had been on duty for almost thirty years and had lost three out of four wheels. I'm not sure how she was opening and closing it at all for the last while. Farm girls are tough and determined. Even in their late 60s.
