Can you imagine handing the keys to your pampered Italian classic to some stranger so they can bomb through the mountains jamming gears and missing shifts? How does the rental company know that you know how to treat a car well?
I just dont see how the business model can work unless the rental price can pay for an engine and transmission rebuild.
