I think the answer is how bad does Red Bull want the constructors championship . If that is the main goal and I am sure it is the sooner the better . Marko said yesterday that Yuki has really progressed . Is that a hint ? But Marko also said Hadjar has been very impressive . Is that a hint ?
The real problem is no matter who is in that seat you have many issues to juggle . First off your team mate is Max . Love him or hate him he is a top notch driver . So pressure is instant . Second issue even Max has admitted the Red Bull is a bear to wrangle . A very steep learning curve . Third issue is the short fuse of Helmut Marko . He eats and spits out drivers . Instant pressure .
There are no guarantees that Yuki or Hadjar or anyone else can instantly perform better . Perez had years to adapt and still struggled big time . I honestly think Red Bull need to correct the issues that make the car so edgy to drive . It is fast but seems like a very narrow performance window and not easy on tires . Like others I am interested to see how it plays out .
