For me, with just a Carrera flared 73S, I own two sets of 7's and 8's...
One set I have 185 x 70's and 215 x 60's road tires... For the other set I've been running 225 x 50 TOYO RA1's on all 4 corners (square set up) for about 15 years without complaint. The good news is after awhile I can change (unmount and remount) backs to front for longer wear.
However, I would love to run 235 x 50's in the rear. The ONLY performance/track tire made in that size is a TOYO 888, and I don't like them. I don't like their inconsistency or their looks. If wishes were fishes I wish TOYO would make their RA1's in a 235 x 50 x 15 !!!
Oh well...
