I agree - the houses are very close. It's a 95-year-old house so properties may have been closer back then. You can see in the photo that I have the smaller part of the space - it's possible that they added the garage which took up the original space.
This is going to be a short-term rental so I'm good with the smaller lot as it's less maintenance for me. When I'm done, the entire backyard will be patio style.
