At some point I will go down to the county and get records (if available) on this house. The original lot was subdivided, and a house was built behind my house. There is a driveway to nowhere on the left side of the house which may have gone to a detached garage (now a house). It's possible that they built the current garage, on the right side, which explains the small remaining space on the side of the house.
