To be honest, it's not as bad as it sounds. Most of us (at least me) are in an air-conditioned office most of the day. The nights are perfect as you can drive with the windows down and it's very pleasant. Going out in the daytime during the hot summers is not so great. Most mornings are nice too. When we do get the 115 degree days, sometimes it doesn't cool off at night and that's not so great but usually a short period of time.
