A Bronx Tale was on today. Not terribly deep but a good watch. I actually like Deniro in this as he’s subdued and I love the working class guy he plays. Blue collar wholesome.
Separately I’m wondering why Gangs of New York is never on. Phenomenal movie that stays with you long after it ends. Daniel Day-Lewis is epic in this.
My favorite DiCaprio movie until Django (dinner table scene possibly most epic ever recorded imo).
The heaviness of Gangs leads me to another very intense flick- American History X. Ed Norton is so good. Tough to watch which I think makes it great.
