3:25pm. Broad daylight. Multiple commands to drop her weapon. Several officers in her yard, presumably in uniform. And b.s. on the claim that she may not have been able to hear their commands due to the helicopter hovering above. I've spent way too much time on flightlines, servicing aircraft, with all kinds of nearby airborne traffic, including very low hovering helicopters. And we can be damn sure the cops were using their "big boy voices", screaming orders as loud as possible. This kind of claptrap is only written by and for those who have no experience and can therefore be easily duped by these kinds of claims.
So why did she not follow their commands? Why did she shoot at them? Is it possible, as others have suggested, that she was high on something? Or maybe she is one of those virulent anti-police types. Or both. Either way, she is in deep doo doo, and should be.
