So why did she not follow their commands? Why did she shoot at them? Is it possible, as others have suggested, that she was high on something? Or maybe she is one of those virulent anti-police types. Or both. Either way, she is in deep doo doo, and should be.

Or better - if they weren't in uniform and her kids were in the house?
I know full well that if armed people were in my driveway, weapons drawn and shouting at me, my first instinct would not be to disarm myself in the
hope they were actually police. I suspect my wife wouldn't do so either.
And no, I don't know what happened either.
I'm simply pointing out an alternative scenario where her actions might seem slightly more justifiable.
