For tight spots like that, ratcheting wrenches are useful. They come in flat, angled or hinged (flex-head) flavors. Stubby ones seem particularly versatile..

I have one recessed bolt on the back of my intercooler that is a pig with an open or ring wrench due to a tiny angle before the wrench fouls the end tank. Completely blind (overhang), no way to get a socket on.

Use a stubby 13mm ratcheting wrench & whistle happily for 15 seconds - you're done...
