Continuing with the Armored Car restoration. The white plastic chassis soaked overnight in alcohol but really didn't clean up like I wanted. I think it is just too stained from being buried in the dirt for decades, so I will paint it, either gloss black or gunmetal gray. The Citri-strip did the trick, and the diecast body is completely stripped of paint. I have all the pieces soaking in soapy water at the moment. They will be rinsed, dried, and painted this weekend. I'm thinking I will paint the body red and add some detail before clear coating, and the chassis and rims will be gunmetal gray with a black grill. I think Zack will like that. [emoji106]
