My brother had a custom industrial door built and installed at his house. It isn’t getting kicked in. Steel door. Looks like ass, like it’s the back door in the alley of a Walmart. But it’s solid. It would take explosives to breach.

My guess is that there are or will be some that do it when folks aren't asleep. And it's unlikely, but eventually, factors will line up for something bad to happen. It's like a plane crash, it's not likely, but it happens.

One of the things that will probably be a contributing factor is the advent of video cameras that send alerts to cell phones. All you need is a guy that's got a spoon or shotspoon handy, and a doorbell camera, and a few kids that dilly dally before they get to kicking and end up being slower than the guy inside.
