So, the problem with replacing the entire upright here in the rust belt, is that you are only shifting your problems somewhere else . You will find the through bolts frozen into the bushings and control arms etc, and down the rabbit hole you go .
Ive only been defeated by maybe two or 3 wheel bearings in my life, to where I had to replace the upright or spindle .
I broke my press , and then threw out my back pounding on one of the first rear Subaru wheel bearings I ever did . They finally came out with a special tool for them . But.... It was $800 bucks, and they still do not come out easily . Still involves a torch, air hammer , and lots of caution .
Glad you got it to move. They always give up the ghost eventually !
