We live in a rural setting with about 8 acres. County ordinances require septic system in place which for us is a septic tank and drain field. Went ahead and put in one for a three bedroom house in case we want to build a house there for our daughter or to sell. Cannot have more than one Rv on your property and that opening is closing rapidly for a permanent “structure”. They are going to a temporary only rule to be used while building a permanent structure…max 1 yr.
The floor vents are factory for the furnace. It works very well.
This was much more work than I anticipated. I have remodeled sailboats, restored cars and remodeled and built houses. I am better than average with carpentry/ finish work. I wasn’t educated on the unique issues with RV’s and the propensity for leaks and the damage they cause. Lesson learned. Biggest issue is the size of the rooms; for instance, when painting, you barely get started on the walls and your are done which means cleaning the rollers constantly. Same thing with the trim.
