Longhoods were thought of as ‘old’ cars. At the time people often updated them to g-body, 964 or 993 bodywork. I loved, no, LUSTED, after the Holy Grail Carrera RS. At $100,000 at the time, they were a pipe dream. I was young and broke. But I COULD afford to build my own version of the 911 Hot Rod I always wanted. I guess now, it would be called OEM+ or an Outlaw. I saw the project to completion in ‘00. I enjoyed it until I sold it in ‘11. In ‘21 I bought the car back from the people I sold it to. Now Light Ivory paint took the place of the formerly black paint
