Not really a motorcycle but an old Cushman scooter.
My brother was cleaning out his hanger and gave me this 1960 Cushman Super Eagle and a 1970 Suzuki T125 Stinger (twin cylinder), both which hadn't run in 10+ years.
The Cushman sat because the "stator" was shot and produced no spark, and the Suzuki's gas tank had rotted through along with the carbs drying out and the remnants of the mixed gas & oil hardening like glue in the carbs.
The stator consists of 4 AC coils for lights & horn, and 1 magneto for spark.
As many parts are no longer available I started looking for parts and knowledge about them on the internet. I found a guy in Visalia, Ca who rebuilds stators.
He did an amazing job repairing and restoring it to looking like new PLUS IT WORKED TOO!
The Engine is a 8HP Cushman Husky with kick starter pedal and I recently added a compression release as it's kinda sorta hard to kick over!
