My pops had his done recently (mid Jan), although I don't know if it was the procedure you reference but it was much less recovery than what that joint replacement had entailed in years past. He is 79, but in great shape and as soon as cleared he was on his stationary bike a couple times a day. He's back at it already working around his property, doing well 4 months in recovery, if fact my mom ragged him for over doing it some.

He is traveling currently so I can't reach him to ask.
