I really detest pulling those off with a slide hammer. It's so uncivilized.
I present a more elegant solution for a more civilized age...
Ridiculously laughably easy / gentle. A couple turns of the wrench and she slid out nice and easy. No drama. No busted-A$$ cap. No broken slide hammer chain / fitting. A Porsche nerd buddy and I put it together. He's a 964 guy, but don't hold that against him.
