Ok sorry for the late update here.
I sent the FD to Brian at rarlyl8 to be rebuilt and had a quick turnaround from him. I also bought a new set of injectors I put everything together but put the injectors in baby bottles, and ran the pumps to verify the flow. As you can see below all six injectors gave the same flow. After that, I was all messed up on the mixture screw so for posterity, here’s what I did:
I leaned it out until there was a decent amount of travel before it activated the plunger in the FD, then ran the pumps and turned the mixture clockwise (enriched) until a light spray of fuel started spraying out of the injectors, they were still in baby bottles at this point.
Then I turned the pumps off, put everything back together and she started up on the first try. It was rich but then I backed off the mixture screw until I got it dialed in and was able to get my idle AFR to 13.5. The idle is a tiny bit high at about 1k rpm but that’s more due to the throttle body being misadjusted. When I originally dropped the motor, the throttle body rod was cracked at the transmission end so I replaced it. It might be adjusted just a bit too short so it’s holding the butterfly open.
In any case, she runs again!
