Above is what happens if you have a tub acid dipped and DON’T get all the residue out.
My powder Coater, PowderTech-Plus, bakes freshly dipped tubs in the oven to burn it all out.
Once that is done, they inspect the tub, and then do any metal work needed.
After this, depending on the finish, back in the oven, then before it cools down, apply the powder, baking, then if it gets a clear coat, same processes and comes out very shiny.
