my wife loves to eat fish. especially from the ocean. and I live right next to it.
my wife asked why I dont kayak into the ocean. hmmm.. I went with the easy one. "oh, I dont have a marine walkie talkie." I think it is a safety requirement.
I chit you not. yesterday, I was dozing on the couch with the wife and my dog lets out that "huff" he does when someone comes to the door. I was..Amazon? my wife goes, "oh that's for you". huh?
the woman ordered me a Marine radio. hahah.. she looked at my search history and found the one I kept coming back to . nothing expensive, but meets the requirements. (thanks China!!). now this week, I hit the store store buy a new rod/reel combo. hahha..
my excuse should have been, "sharks. sharks honey..I dont go into the ocean because of sharks"
whatever. I am going this upcoming weekend. Rockfish. Pacific Ocean, but only if the winds are favorable, and tides..the tides matter.
lets do this!! there is a robust kayak community and as I understand it, the ocean will have many many kayakers out there. even coming back into the beach, complete strangers will meet you at water's edge to help you get out. if a shark bumps my kayak, at least my YouTube channel will blow up.
