Both read like a John Le Carre spy hunt. Good stuff.
(sorry no Amazon links here..because capitalism..)
The concerning thing is that this 'internet blogger' seems to have access to FCC communications per the the third video. He knew the scammers were calling but didn't have info on the victim. No pre-deputization by any authority on record. As suggested. He supposedly has a direct line to intercept international federal communications. Forget 'feel good' video. Forget 'doing right' which I completely agree with. Snowden was also a third party employed and became a permanent pariah. Different venue. Same access.
The other concerning thing for me is that it has been wide-spread for a long time, and there has been a lack of response from up high, for a long time. The scam centers are known and the communication pathways are known. Billions of dollars from innocents are scammed every year. The rest of that conversation is not appropriate for this venue.

I'm assuming that is because the he gets access to the scammers PCs, and they are using softphones (software on your PC that can make and receive VoIP calls (which is how they spoof US phone numbers).
