A few summers back I had met a crow when camping in BC.
This bird was hanging around the campsites stealing food unattended on tables and at breakfast one day it dropped down to take some biscuit from my hand. We had a small game of tug of war and shortly after it came back with a small stick to continue the game. I named it Crazy Bird and it seemed to know its name.
After a week in the campground we had a rental cabin in town and I woke up to find a large group (murder) of crows in the back yard. I called out Crazy Bird and the darn thing flew from the group and landed on my shoulder. Never saw it again but I still call for the crazy bird when I visit the town and see crows. Will see if I can find some photos.
Sad ending to the video but in the wild these things happen.
