We have many crows in our area. And there are three fast food places about a mile from here as the crow flies. My wife has a bird bath in one of the gardens in the front yard. The crows use it all the time. They bring in pieces of bread, likely hamburger buns the low life litterbugs toss out. The crows bring hunks of bread to the birdbath. We don't know if they are bringing a give, or if they are "stashing" it for later. Of course it just turns to goo soaking in the water. Mrs. Carrera has to flush out the birdbath regularly as it gets rather nasty. And yea, there are mosquito pellets in there that say they are bird friendly, just deadly to skeeter larve.
